This is too damn funny... at least to me.
So for the past five days my Thai friend Kasama has been coming over to my house. It all started two or three weeks ago when he was really depressed about some boy or other and I jokingly said I'd get him some porn. The next week he asked me seriously for some. Wha? This went back and forth until I finally brought him over and gave him the closest thing to it I had...
FAKE.
So he read it and liked it. Then he took home some Gravitation manga and my anime and wanted more. The next day I sent him home with Selfish Love, Eerie Queerie, and a CD of some yaoi scanslations. Then I went and spent my Borders gift card and picked up Our Everlasting and he took that home with him along with Only the Ring Finger Knows. Now he's coming back today and I've completely run out of stuff to lend him. I kept telling him that I wouldn't lend him Kyou Kara Maoh because I only have the first three disks and am unable to locate the fourth and don't want to put him through this similar misery at being unable to watch things.
But we might watch a little bit of it. Or maybe just go forward to the gay parts in Get Backers? Maybe I'll introduce him to slash. Who the hell knows?
It has been a fun filled week for me overall on this front. I doubt I'll be studying today. Har har.
