The croc hunter, Steve Irwin was killed this morning (Monday in Aussieland). Clara and I are always watching "Wiggly Safari" and I actually grew quite fond of this nut. Plus his wife seems so sweet and he has those beautiful babies. What a bummer.

I was really surprised to hear about this. I thought it was strangely ironic, too, that he wasn't killed by some dangerous crocodile or some venomous snake, he was killed by the "armor" of a non-predatorial animal. It's such a shame, too... he was so young and was actually fun to watch (though a little annoying, too).

And I have to admit that I did enjoy the South Park parody of him a few years ago.
