So, we watched Passion of the Christ yesterday, and I have to say (this will piss some people off, I'm sure) that I wasn't so impressed. I don't understand why they had to make it so horrifyingly violent. How does it help someone's faith to see that and not the spiritual side of it? i completely agree with you jess. and i agree with the not being sorry. people are on their high horse most of the time but the act like they're down there in the shit. and the sad thing is that it's mostly just to make themselves feel better.

You're completely right, and your wording was awesome....
I just keep thinking of all the video from Rwanda that I watched last year, and a million other things I've seen in my anth classes and in my Holocaust Awareness Week stuff, and think that it's such a shame, it's such a terrible waste of life and spirit. And people don't care, and that makes it even harder.
