There are times that life just comes along and slaps you in the face, hard. Sunday was one of those times. I came home from 10 and a half hours at work and got the phone call that my grandma on my dad's side had a massive stroke. jess, sweetie, i'm sorry. i know how that goes and what a not fun situation you're in. i'm keeping good thoughts for you all. at least you're close enough to be able to be with her

Thanks, love. I know you've gone through this sort of thing before, and I appreciate the thoughts. We're going to take her off of life support today or soon, and I think the worst part is seeing how heartbroken my grandpa is.
