So, my bridal shower is on Saturday, and my FMIL is coming into town tomorrow, so I'm trying to get my house FMIL clean :) I always think it's funny when people tell you not to clean your house for their visit....like I'd EVER let that happen! :) Maybe it's just growing up with two uber-clean grandmothers, but I can't imagine just leaving a house ( Read more... )

hey jess
hope all is going well for you
is FMIL future-mother-in-law? that's the only thing i could see it standing as.
anyways, i know you're super busy with the wedding and just having gotten off of camp (which i hope went well for you), but i do hope everything is well for you, and i do hope we can manage to keep in touch somehow.
yes, i have actually made it up to summit county. i'm living in silverthorne, working in frisco, and hoping ben will come back at the end of his job in michigan (which i went out to visit him a couple weeks ago). unfortunately i don't have internet up at my new place, am currently at an internet station near my job, but will hopefully end up finding internet access at the library in silverthorne.
anyways, i do miss hearing from you and hope we can talk soon.
take care
katie

hi there--

yeah, FMIL does mean future mother in law, it's shorthand from the wedding website I've been using. They screwed our journals there up (have been deleting posts, etc), so I moved everything over here for now.

I'm doing pretty well, will be glad when everything is over for the wedding and life can get back to normal.

Hope all is well for you--Silverthorne and Frisco are a ways up there, but I'm sure you're probably loving it, so that's what's important.

Take care,
Jess

Can't wait to see pics of projects.

Yeah, Oct 3 would be a great day for you to get a new job. Hee hee. No, we don't want you walking around alone at night. And yes, it kills me when people say "don't go to any special trouble for me." Like you're gonna heed that.

Good luck w/the cell phone hunt. You're sleep, so you can't do this -- but I think you say "where is my phone, where is my phone, where is my phone" -- go to sleep and when you wake up, your brain will tell you where to find it. I am a kook, I know -- but while I'm at it, I'll just say Jess, find your phone, 3x before I go to sleep. ;)

Hey there :) I think you're right, LJ is where more hair hangs out :) lol...which is the way I like it, so it's kind of fun...

It's so funny that you said the 3X before you go to sleep thing, because I took a nap yesterday and did that....no answers yet, but I'm still looking! Thanks for the long-distance help! We always called that "setting your intentions"....so, either we're both kooks, or it's more common than we both think :)

Can you remember where you last used the phone? That's another good one. Go back to that place and stand --- your brain should begin filing for information on where the phone is.

Sorry my long distance didn't work. I said it 6 times! ;-)
