I always think there's another way, some solution that isn't war because war can never be a solution. But it's a sad thing that the people in charge don't care what happens to the real Americans, the ones who are doing the fighting. I hope to God this ends and you'll be home soon. And I admire your tenacity. I can't imagine being able to survive and maintain my sanity in the midst of war.

See, like I'm sure you know, my husband Montes is not very good at expressing what the day-to-day does to him. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to read expressed the emotions my husband is going through and battling with. I appreciate the realness and depth you have written with. No problem. Montes is a good guy. I am sure he feels a lot more than he shows. I am glad I can at least share with you some of the goofy-ness that surrounds us.
