So I'm hearing school might be canceled for an entire semester! I hope it doesn't end up being that long, if so I'm def going to check out doing some volenteer work for the people downtown who were less fortunate

ya know... i was all up for volenteering at first. but, they're shooting people out there!!! okay you cant help them. maybe some of them deserve help but the cops and national gaurd are scared to go out alone. that is no place to be. its going to take a while to get everything under control down there. and the disease thats going to start happening. i wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing the plague and and worse breaking out. with all that water in old cemetaries and sewage backing up. its worse than a 3rd world country down there. and our parish is on the boarder which means we get aleins that cross our boarder.

they might be less fortunate... but a lot of them, too many of them are causing havoc right now and that is no place to be.

there have been a lot of people here offering us charity too. at least there are some nice people left. all the bad ones are left in the city it seems.

i just miss everybody and wonder when we will see each other agin.

no its ashley and i wanted to tell u kevo that i got ahold of jackie. she called me this morning. Yea...she was telling me that her aunt is a police officer and she had to stay and help out. She said prisoners are breaking out and there are riots going on. My grandmother went back to try to find out if my aunt and uncle are okay. ITs been almost 5 hours and it only takes an hour and a half to get there. I hope she is okay bc there are alot of crazy people out there right now. O and thanks for the bit about the plague...it seemed as soon as i got to my sister's from where i was i got sick. Right now i am running a fever and my nose is running. I know its just a cold but uhhh....good way to freak me out. I shall try to call both of yall from where i am now later tonight. I dont want to tie up the lines incase my grandma calls.

i'm getting sick to but its not the plague it would take a while for something like that to happen i believe. my uncle had the flue before we got up here and i think i got it. starting to feel sick, i can tell its gonna get worse though. i dont think the riots are all that bad out there not widespread at least they dont have enough people left to have it widespread.

but i'm sure it would take a lot longer than normal to get to where they were going because of the closed road situations and different check points maybe and possibly dealing with traffic, people running out of gas ect.

just found out my dad has to be to work saturday night so by then we will at least have a good idea of things hopefully.

my sister in laws mom was stranded in her appartment with the water up to the second floor she was on the roof calling out but they said it would be a while before they could start evacuating jefferson or even help out there, but that was a few days ago. she's still looking for her.

KASEY!!!!!! I miss you man. I am glad you are okay. I am not far from baton rouge myself. Awesome...if we have to switch schools...we will go to LSU. For cheesy. I dont want to have to wait out another year so as soon as things get settled that is where i shall try to go. Either LSU or SLU but i think LSU is closer. O...this is ashley.
