Did any of you play Underground Church during church camps when you were younger?
On hindsight now the intent behind the game is downright creepy.

but a friend of mine did play it.
it changed her life.
she is now my pastor.

yes. creepy and sick. brought out the worst in me. I remember kicking a boy who was being insolent whilst he was on his hands and knees.
Never let the dictator out again.

It did seem to me that the worst torturers were those who are- or perceived themselves to be- rejects.
But the thing is that the church is prepping its young to expect persecution in their lifetimes. How scary is that?

I've never played it myself but I have heard about it before. I rmr thinking to myself that it sounded like a pretty scary game.

Yeah, the fear and paranoia were palpable. Though it is a controlled environment, there's no telling if someone would take it too far.
