One man, no vote

I'm not gonna vote for president this Nov, just as I didn't in 2004, and 2008.

Tl;dr: my vote doesn't matter (and if you're reading this and are eligible to vote, neither does yours), and I don't like being used in a shill ( Read more... )

I don't necessarily agree with the not voting part, but that's secondary. Otherwise, mostly ditto.

Why don't you vote for Gary Johnson then? It seems to be equivalent of voting for 3 party system

Not closely. But sine electoral college makes my personal vote for potus 100% irrelevant, I want a way to voice my dissatisfaction.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I agree with your reasoning. But there are many more things to vote on where your vote actually counts than the president. California has many very important ballot initiatives this time around that will decide the fate of this state for many years and decades to come. Don't vote for president. Fine. But go out and vote on the local issues that matter.
