So, this silly bag is just for me, because I managed to really fuck up the lining and got red permanent marker stains on the damn thing... but this is my first attempt at a reverse applique purse. I did promise I'd post a photo sometime soon, so here it is ( Read more... )

That looks great for a first try. I made cupcakes tonight, and they didn't taste fantastic, but they weren't bad. They were definitely cupcakes (Alisha said they looked just like the picture!), just like that is definitely Einstein. Attempt #2 will definitely turn out better than attempt #1, and your bags and my cupcakes will just keep getting better.

Cupcakes are pretty good. Haven't had one of those in a while. We should have a cupcake-making party; practice makes perfect, right?

Do you have a cupcake pan as well? Then we could make 24. Or, do you have cake pans? We could bake a cake, that's always fun.

Thanks; I do hope I can sell them eventually. Sewing certainly beats schoolwork... I figure if I get good enough, I can spend the next year working and sewing (I'm taking a year off school). I'm hoping to set up a website eventually so I can sell my bags online; I figure there's a market on the internet for pretty much anything these days.
