So, I flew in to Ottawa this morning, and my Dad picked me up, and we went to the mall because my mom thought maybe I'd find a half-decent winter jacket at Winners, which, predictably, I didn't, but I did find a pretty skirt on sale (not at Winners), which I bought.
We enjoyed a couple of friendly debates on the way home, and then my parents and I sat around and chatted, then I waited for Arden at the bus stop, and he almost fell out of the bus in his rush to get off, and we ran back to the house and I almost twisted my ankle (I guess it runs in the family), then I drank some tea, and then Arden and I played some kind of mini table hockey thing my parents got him second-hand. Then my mom took me shopping and I got a bunch of cool swag.
Then we played some Blokus, then ate, then played more Blokus, and more Blokus.
Then I put Arden to bed. Then he got up with a headache. Then my mom medicated him and I put him to bed again.
Also, Rob and I had our xmas last night, so now I have a digital camera (and a hand-held blender! complete with a chopper attachment!), so I'll probably take a bunch of silly pictures and post them all over the place soon.
This has been a day in the life of Marie Barnett.
