i was thinking i might actually make some more progress on the apron of doom that i'm making for janiene (aka fairyhead. i've also been making a fair number of potholders on the spiffy little loom that maggie got for christmas. i need more loops :)

you know, i have a crewcut now (no maintanence). i wish you were here to take pictures of me with no hair. it's a trip!

thank you :) i'm trying, but it's frustrating as all git out. when i'm laying down in a good position and my medication is working, i feel fine; at those moments, i think, "hey, i need to be doing something other than just laying here!" i'm not so good at "being the duck," as scottopic would say. i keep absorbing those raindrops of guilt and worry, instead of letting them roll off my back.

okay, writing lj responses on narcotics maybe isn't such a good idea :p

I'm glad you made it through the surgery ok - I've been thinking about you lots, beautiful lady! Is your doctor pleased with the results of the surgery, and your progress?

yes, everything seems to be going very well. i'd love it if you came for a visit. if you bring you, that would be present enough. i can't be much of a hostess, beyond pointing to the cupboard where i keep X and assuring you that it's fine for you to get whatever you need. but kitty time? how could i turn that down??
