Excuse the RP account.

In your last year at school or after you've graduated and have a college degree, you can apply for the JET Programme. All JET participants leave during the summer of their applied year (usually July to August, but there is a late entry of April now). About six months or so prior to the due date, the online application will go up at the JET Programme website for your country. Complete the online application, the Statement of Purpose, transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc. and submit them to the address provided by the deadline. The online application must be submitted online AND in print though, so be careful.

The application itself has already closed for this cycle, but it should come out again sometime during the fall of this year for the next. Keep an eye on the website or look to the JET LJ comm because people obsessively post there when it starts getting close to the application release dates.

Did that answer your question? Or did I just spew nonsense. I CAN'T TELL.

They recommend one academic professor and one person who knows you well - I think a Japanese professor who knows you well would be good as they can vouch for your enthusiasm for Japan, but if there's another teacher/professor you feel closer to or feel that they can give a better idea of your academic/personal character, go with them. Alternatively, you can do one Japanese professor and one other professor ( ... )

Hehe, it's funny to see you write about the subtitles in Avatar because I have another friend living in Japan right now, and she said the Japanese subtitles were in a fancy font so she couldn't read it at all XDDD Therefore had no idea what the Na'vi were saying. LOL.

PS I added you back on PSN >8DDD

HAHAH I could read it (but I'm used to reading unreadable text thanks to students), I was just like "AUGH, 3D SUBTITLES. DNW" and ignored them mostly. It gave me a headache to look at them.

OHOHOHOHOHO I SHOULD GET ON SOMETIME AND LOOK AT YOUR...idk, are there profiles on those things? I'm such a PSN n00b.
