I need to make many cookies and brownies and then do my taxes. Why, taxes why. Also, I wish...my sifu would give me concrete details about the upcoming trip. I get nervous enough going abroad without worrying about money things. Which I always worry about, but that's not the point ( Read more... )

Haha, yeah, I guess I have. I really like movies and my parents do, too. And now with my two nieces, I see a lot of newer movies since animated films are usually aimed toward children (not all, mind you, but definitely the Disney ones).

; ; God, I wish people around here were into ...photoshoots and cosplay things. I have so much awesome clothing, and nowhere to ever wear it, because the Midwest sucks like that.

Organize! I bet you could find a comm online that runs in-line with your interests and then see if any of them want to do a photoshoot?

Or else come here. :D

Also, Japan has very little news to report.

Don't they have the other Japanese athletes to show? There was a really cute figure skater last night....

Yeah, but they're on different days? The women's short program wasn't until yesterday and curling was three days ago.

Which one? We have three people in there - although, I think you might be talking about Asada Mao? She took second after the Korean skater for the short program. Andou took 4th and I think...Suzuki took 11th?

But hey, Takahashi Daisuke won their first men's figure skating medal! That's pretty cool!

... Admittedly it was bronze. But what're you going to do. THOSE RUSSIANS.

And I am doing this meme... when it's not 2:30. x_x

He did! And he's from Kansai University, which is right down the road from me. Go figure.

Bronze or no, he had an amazing performance to get a medal even after he failed the quad.

So is Oda Nobunari... who I kind of wanted to win too. His shoelace broke and he got points off, which is pretty shitty. :/

I forgot about that! I can't believe he got Bronze with a fall. That's pretty damn awesome. He's apparently got mad awesome technique... though admittedly, all I can judge by is "ooo, pretty!"

Yeah, but that's his own dumb fault. He didn't want to change laces before he went skating and he really should have because they were already broken before he went on the ice. Oda Nobunari, as famous as he is, can be kind of a dumb twat sometimes. Like when he got arrested and thrown out of the skating world for drunk driving.

He really does have some pretty damn good moves. His footwork, which is what people are talking about the most here, is pretty impressive. Really light on his feet. Although, the guy who took gold? Is like 6 foot something and I commend him for being so damn amazing in a sport that's really aimed at shorter, slimmer people. I can't believe we're the same age thereabouts.

Oh man... I might have to do this meme, too, despite the fact that I would probably mark relatively few of these (and once I've fulfilled a few other memes I've been meaning to do but still have yet to get around to... >.> ).

I religiously watched anything He-Man and She-Ra when I was kid

*High fives you* :D I used to be a huge He-Man fan... to the point where I got the action figures and played them with the neighborhood boys, who were also fans. XD;

And... eeeee! Secret of Nimh! <3 I absolutely loved both the movie and the book it was based off from. :D

Heh, take your time. Memes don't have a required time limit after all.

*high fives* My cousin and I had all of the action figures from He-Man and She-Ra, including the huge castle and uh...yeah, we played with them a lot. While watching the show.

Oh yesssss, the book. I loved it so. ; ;
