She feels bad about what had happened (even though SHE DIDN'T ACTUALLY DO ANYTHING). It's a feeling she's not used to so she's made him something to appease her conscience- it's horribly lame and sappy, and Temari's surprised she actually did it without throwing up

It's almost the end of break time, and he's sat on his own, thankfully - slouched in a chair, feet up on a table, drinking some-- energy drink of some kind.]

Finally! Are you avoiding me? [She stays standing opposite him, eyebrow raised.]

[The call makes him look up from what he was doing, leaning up finally and trying on a smile-- he's not sure if she's happy or-- cross. The last time they'd really interacted, well it hadn't really been so good, except for the fact that he knew for sure what was going on with him and Sasuke-- that part was good.]

So, uh, last time I didn't get to.. give you your present. [And probably caused an argument between him and Sasuke, possibly damaged them emotionally too.] Anyway, here. Happy birthday? Um, I hope you still had a good day... See you around!

[Hands him the wrapped gift and walks hastily towards the door.]
