[He'd been more than happy to help Temari with something for Sasuke-- he was completely oblivious to her reasons for wanting to get him something, but it would be nice to get to know Temari anyway. She seemed nice, really.

The whole 'birthday' present was long forgotten as far as he was concerned, and it was with a huge grin that he arrived at her house, knocking on the door perhaps a little too enthusiastically, staring at his knuckles when he was done-- and then up at the doorbell. Whoops. A finger darts out to press it before he can stop himself-- three times, in succession.]

[She exhales when she hears the doorbell chime three times, glad for a distraction. She jumps to her feet and, being pretty close to the entrance, opens the door for Naruto. Honestly, who else would knock and then ring the doorbell so many times. Temari hadn't told anyone that she was expecting someone, but her father isn't around so it shouldn't be a problem.]

We're not deaf, you know. [Said with a smirk in greeting.]

Right, then we would've heard the knocks. [Don't be scared, she's just teasing. She does note that he seems especially cheerful though, as she leads them to the kitchen. Her curiosity wins pretty quickly.]
