Help!

There's something not-living in my sister's room. It hangs around at night, sometimes walks around, and it casts a sinister shadow. The dog keeps growling and the kitten is freaking out, though I don't know if the same thing that nightmarishly waltzes in the one room is the same thing which provokes the dog and cat.
Anyway, someone tell me what this

It may, but then again I may have written it when I was a horrid little teenager at HSPVA. I don't know. I just found it in my journal.
