nomination round; (bandom/model iconist awards 07)
Hello folks! This is the first annual Bandom/Model Iconist Awards, it is being held here at murdermachine and I thank stagekiss, discover, umei and voltagecity for helping me come up with some of the categories and figuring out the rules and details; And checking things out. If you would like to promote these awards, please, go right ahead, the more attention, the better. These awards are/were inspired by efferent's Animanga Iconmaker Awards which she has held two years in a row.
Also, thank you to the lovely michaelshinoda for promoting this over at the wonderful fueledbygraphix.
Now there are quite a few rules and guidelines that go along with these awards. They're simple and easy to understand. If you have any questions at all, please send me an email! Now here they are:
● You may only nominate one person per category and it may not be yourself; Though you can agree with/reply to any amount of nominations in a category.
● When nominating please use the LJ-USER/LJ-COMM tags and follow any guidelines of the like in any category if listed.
● To nominate simply: Comment to a category with your nomination.
● For a nominee to pass to the voting round they need to have at least 3 people agree to the nomination.
● Do not double nominate, if you agree with a nomination, reply to it saying so.
● Each category is a thread, reply to the thread with your nominee; This is only said in case you are at all confused about how that works.
● You are not allowed to nominate yourself.
● Do not flame or insult anyone listed as a nominee.
● YES, YOU ARE WELCOME TO NOMINATE GJ ICONISTS, PLEASE JUST LINK US TO TO THEIR JOURNAL.
● YOU MAY VOTE FOR ANYONE YOU WOULD LIKE TO! SO LONG AS THEIR WORK APPLIES TO SAID CATEGORY!

Nominations will last till Monday, October 15. Voting will begin a day or so after the nomination round ends.

REMEMBER, IF YOU WANT SOMEONE TO PASS ONTO THE VOTING ROUND,YOU MUST AGREE TO THEIR NOMINATION. AND THEY MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 PEOPLE AGREE TO PASS ON.

Also, keep in mind if there is one nominee in one category at the end of the nomination period and they are at least seconded, they are the automatic winner. And if there are like 2 or 3 nominees (or more) in a category at the end and they each have one or two agreements, then they will run in the in the voting round. Lastly, you can nominate one per category and agree to as many as you'd like per category.
