A CATHAY PACIFIC FLIGHT

FIRST CLASS SEATS

You may check in 2 bags with dimensions measuring up to 158cm (62 inches) in total and 32kg (70lbs) in weight for each.

For passengers on long-haul flights, we offer specially selected amenity kits for him - Acca Kappa products from Italy and Victorinox travel bags from Switzerland - and for her - Darphin products from France and Ipa-Nima travel bags from Vietnam - as well as basic essentials including toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouthwash.

The heart of our new First Class is the seat. Apart from being among the longest and widest in the sky, the First Class seat can quickly and easily extend into a full-length bed. Privacy screens on the aisle side and between the centre seats transform your seating area into a secure and cozy bedroom. For extra comfort, we now offer luxury duvets, pillows and, for the ultimate in slumber comfort, a 'sleepsuit'.

Your First Class seat has a length of 79 inches, is 22 inches wide between the armrests, has a bed width of 25 inches and can recline 180 degrees into a completely flat bed.

One of the highlights awaiting every First Class passenger is the superb array of Asian and International cuisine, all freshly prepared in our state-of-the-art galley boasting rice cookers, toasters, steam ovens and fresh coffee-making facilities. Because all dishes are made to order, you can choose what to eat.

There is a lot more to the new First Class cabin than an ultra comfortable chair and bed. For a start, there's your very own 10.4" television with noise-cancelling headsets and 'Audio-Video-On-Demand' (AVOD), offering you a choice of over 30 blockbusters and 80 popular short features viewable at any time. There are also 20 channels to choose from, including movies, sports, award-winning documentaries and CNN daily news.

BUSINESS CLASS SEATS

You may check in 2 bags with dimensions measuring up to 158cm (62 inches) in total and 32kg (70lbs) in weight for each.

If you're traveling long-haul, then you're in for a treat. Our amenity kits, by French label Agnes b, feature select skincare products from American brands Murad or Dermalogica, and other essentials such as toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash.

The Business Class seat is designed for optimum comfort, with a special lumbar cushion to support your back, an adjustable head-rest with special wings for added privacy and comfort. In addition, the seat on all long haul flights has a 60" pitch that allows you to stretch out and relax in style.

With the introduction of our Business Class, you will feel even more relaxed with our seating arrangement. Still carrying the 2-3-2 layout, there are only 3 rows of seats in the cabin downstairs to give you extra space. The Z-shaped seat is now wider (20.5"), longer (just over 75") and indeed, even more comfortable! The headrest is adjustable 6 ways and the lumbar support 4 ways. Pillows are now reversible and much larger in size.

We've also added a personal reading light (with adjustable direction and brightness), and a personal water bottle holder to ensure you have a comfortable journey.

When it comes to entertainment, you really are spoilt for choice.

For a start there's our CD audio system, while your personal television features up to 26 channels of non-stop entertainment. On-screen information is available in English, Chinese.

Our Business Class offers 10.4" PTVs - the same size as those in First Class. You can enjoy our "Movies on Demand" service (available on our AVOD aircraft) that offers 29 movies anytime you like. We also provide you with new noise cancelling headsets to catch all the excitement StudioCX offers.

For your main meal, you are given a choice of four entrées on long-haul flights, and between two and three on regional flights - selected from a superb range of Asian and Western dishes.

The meals are served on a low, flat-topped trolley (à la First Class), giving you an inviting eye-level choice of what's on offer. We're introducing new food service items with a more Asian feel in our Business Class. Come and experience a new inflight dining experience with us.
