Oh, my arms hurt from entering the 綱引き (tsunahiki - tug of war) event at the PTA sports day yesterday. I'm really glad I went. I got to meet some nice parents; some of which really made the effort to talk to me. They gave me snacks, bought me lunch and even gave me some alcohol-free beer (a real first... it's not so bad actually). We lost

I would have thought that 玉入れ　would have been the easiest activity! At least, that would probably have been the activity I would ahve been best at... But I'm not good at sports haha. Is the configuration of the basket that there's a stick inside a narrow wicker basket?

I'm definitely going to download Dragonball Kai for multiple reasons... One, I love any and all Dragonball (but whether I love Dragonball GT is going to be tested by my recent purchase of DBGT) and I've recently watched the original version of Dragonball Z, so I really want to see this new, revoiced version of Dragonball Z :) I love Ryo Horikawa, who is Vegeta's voice, and I'd love to hear him re-deliver all those memorable moments. Ye gods, I'm such a fangirl... Kill me now :D

I'd originally watched the show in English, and while I knew it was completely awful, watching it in Japanese was like watching a completely new and wonderful show. It's not even comparable.
