You know where I stand on this. I'm behind you a 100%. Autists are persons themselves, they're not other people being 'held captive' by autism or some crap like that.

I wish those anti-autism warrior-moms in the USA would shut up long enough so they could hear what autists have to say for themselves. But I guess they like the sound of their own voice and enforcing their own views and expectations better than really, *truly* supporting autists.

Do you have a link to your post on Tyra Banks' forum? I'd like to see how people reply to it...

It's a Ning community, I already have a Ning ID so it was easier for me. :P

Ning is basically... you need to register to get a Ning ID, but you also need to register with that ID to get into member-only communities.

Meanwhile the Tyra Banks Ning is put together really badly! XD Every discussion is filed under 'Sample Title', LOL.

And I luuuuuuurve you even though sometimes I really really want to slap you because you don't *get* things that are obvious to some others. On the other hand, seeing you not getting it, makes me wonder why not, and look at things differently than I would otherwise.
I think you're wonderful, and that Asperger is part of you, and because of that wonderful as well.
