Feeling groovy

Biked over to citibyrd's house today. Had a generally lovely time. Then we decided to watch a movie called Adam & Steve, a gay romantic comedy, or so it marketed itself. Mostly, we watched it with WTF!!! faces and I had to hide my head in the couch cushions several times from the sheer awkwardness. Has anyone else seen this movie? Does anyone know if

I'm trying not to read your Leverage-spoilers (but yay! It's back!), just want to say that yes, Adam & Steve is very awkward. The only thing I really loved about it was Parker Posey's character. But even though it's very mediocre I have to give the film credit for not sticking to the usual gay film formula and really trying to be a genuine modern comedy for all audience. I have straight friends who loved it.

I did enjoy Parker Posey's character. All the fat jokes were kind of ridiculous (in a good way.) It's good to know that the movie did have a point that they achieved (ie straying away from usual gay comedies, trying to make it so that it wasn't just a niche audience.) Yeah, mostly I was just confused while watching it. But it's good to know that at least some people love it.

And yay Leverage! (I hope I didn't spoil you.)

*_______________________* THIS IS MY FACE AFTER WATCHING LEVERAGE 2.01! Just. Their adorable, witty faces! Parker saying her name's just one word, her making sure the quotation marks she did was correct! Hardison saying that he tried finding Parker in 6 mths since but to no avail! Hardison's gleeful face when announcing to Nate that he's Nate's landlord! *snuggles Leverage cast* I missed them so so much!

ME TOO! Just... everything. I totally want to smush them all together in a big group hug with me in the middle. Their little, gleeful faces (especially when 'convincing' Nate to pull 'just one more' job)!!

I watched Leverage last night too! I had it dvr'd from Wed night :) first episode I've ever seen so I'm still getting in touch with the characters but I liked it tons!
