So, I've recently been informed of this meme by firaela. I'm going to hit "shuffle all" on my iPod, and post a couple lines of lyrics from the first 20 songs that come up. You're quite correct. The track from Rent is the first half of the Finale (it's split by Roger's song about Mimi). I'll hold off on title/artist for 18 in case somebody else gets it.
