I just expelled some soda from my nostrils.

Does this mean that Dr Sci will need to work on his outfit as well?

Dunno--I could probably get him to wear a nun's habit, but I don't think I could get him to shave off his whiskers....

I think it sounds fantastic, but I think it sounds like more of a year-long project, don't you? It's only two months...

I had originally submitted it about 4 (?) months ago. Just showing up now. I concur.

I'm actually thinking - that if folks want to purchase bits (to fill out the pic/diarama) that's OK too. They would still need to provide 1-3 pages of documentation even on the purchased item AND make it clear that it is purchased. Maybe - no more than 20% could be purchased??

I guess my hope is to make folks think about the lifestyle - it's not (gasp) just about the clothes. :) :) :)

My challenge (for Atlantia) is to step out of a painting, and bring one object with you. Clothing and accessories must be included, from the skin out, but you can purchase some of the accessories, like shoes, etc. I say, buying is period! The carried with you object must be made yourself, though.

People are asking me, "Can I do XYZ?" My answer is that you can do whatever you want, but you will be judged against the other entrants who might do things differently.

I plan on this being a permanent challenge - sorta - kinda. So - definitely - start working now for next year!! :) :) :)

AND - If you wanted to do a later century diarama - I'd LOVE to see it (and learn from it!!) :)
