I’m trying to write my introduction for Idol.
Introductions are so easy. You just walk up to someone stick out your hand and say, “Hi, my name is whatever” and the rest is history.
Ah, not for me they’re not.
Why? What’s your problem?
Used to be because I was shy, now I’m not sure.
Well, okay, let’s take it slow. Hi my name is Murielle. What’s your name?
Murielle.
No. Say “Hi” or “Hello” something besides just answering the question.
Okay. Hi. I’m Murielle.
Good. Great! That’s the way to start. Now, I’ll say something like this is my third or fourth season of Idol…

Third or fourth season of Idol…
Right, right. It’s my third or fourth season of Idol and I’m really excited for things to get going. Have you been playing long?

Well, because it’s fun and I get to write and read other people’s entries, and I learn from them and make new friends, and it’s a lot of fun, especially if you have time to hang out in the Green Room, too.
That was good. Yeah. Real good. Now, I want you to tell me a little bit about yourself.
Like what?
Well, how’s about when you started writing?
I was a kid. Young. We were doing English Comp in school and I discovered I really enjoyed it and I was good at it, so one way or another I always managed to write.
How did you find out about Idol?
I noticed my friend Bleodswean was writing some really cool stuff and it wasn’t part of any fandom we shared. I began reading her LJ posts and then I asked her what it was all about, followed the link and discovered a whole bunch of other writers all competing to be number one-the writing was awesome!-and I became a fan.
And what made you decide to enter?
I hadn’t intended to. I was really afraid that I wouldn’t measure up, but I decided, with a lot of encouragement from Bleodswean, to give it a go, so I signed on and that was that.
See, you’re doing fine. This is all there is to it. And you’ve done it. So now all you have to do is check it over for spelling and such and post it.
