Change your name and start a new life in America. I'll help. For starters you can be Kat McAwesome, and you can pretty much teach German (or English) in any high school in the country. I recommend Salt Lake or Las Vegas, because that's where I'll be.

Hm, why not...:P There are moments I think "hey, I'm outta here, gonna move to another country, maybe close to my host family or someone I know" but I always end up with doubts because I just know I'm gonna be homesick. I wish we could just beam ourselves to wherever we wanna be. COME ON ALREADY, SCIENCE!!!

Meh, das ist natürlich ärgerlich, da kriegt man mal Geld zurück, und dann muss man direkt nen Batzen an Vadder Staat abgeben :(

Die Sopranos - das ist eine TV-Drama-Tragikomödie (oder so ;) ), da geht es um eine Mafiafamilie in New Jersey und vielen, vielen Verwicklungen (inkl. Privatleben, Kinder etc.) Ist auf jeden Fall mal einen Versuch wert, sich das anzuschauen.
Wenn dumagst, geb ich Micha einfach mal die erste Staffel mit, wenn ich ihn wiedersehen, dann kann er dir dir geben und du kannst mal reinschnuppern :)

Ack, sorry about the red light... It must feel terrible paying all that money for nothing. But lucky you that you got money BACK from the landlords! Wow, I didn't even know that could happen. XD I gotta move to Germany!

I've never actually seen an episode of Sopranos - I'm sure it's quality TV but I don't really like Italian-ish mobster stuff... there's something really unattractive about it, to me. So even if it's great I will probably never see it. But you shall never say never, I guess. ;P
