Hey Meryl, it's Shannon you're former camper. I totally know how you feel. When I moved to Cleveland to go to school, I tried my damndest to keep in contact with everyone. Either I failed miserably or I was forgotten. I only talk to one person from Buffalo, my best friend. Everyone else I'm friends with goes to school with me, going home is a drag. If you ever need anything let me know. Or if you ever drive back to LI and need a place to stay, Cleveland is kinda close to the middle? (haha) Cheer up and be happy for who you have where you are.

I just wanted to let you know that I know what you're going through, too. It's so strange to be somewhere you never really thought you be and not talking to the people who at one point mattered the most to you. My best friend bought a house in the fall and I haven't been there to see him and haven't even spoken to him since then. Now I'm living here on Long Island and there are people I know around here, good friends even, and still we never talk or do anything together. It's also sad that I actually miss Potsdam, even though there are only a few people there I would care to talk to now. I miss our horn studio! Anyway, I hope everything is going OK for you out there!
