Quinn's fever was 103..He took the motrin from the nurse without a problem. Little stinker! Doctor looked in ears, did throat culture, everything, and there is no bacterial infection. She thinks it's the flu. Ugh. I hope I don't get it (or am not getting it!)...

He is a little better..We were up all night with both of us coughing :( We had to fight to get medicine in him a couple times, but his fever broke in the middle of the night and he was soaking wet. He is getting warm again, though..I don't know what to do about the medicine. We keep holding him down and forcing it down his throat, but if anyone else wants him to take it, he'll do it without a fuss! what the..

Anyway, he has really bad cold symptoms (congestion and cough) so I don't think it's roseola..But he did have that once before..

I wonder if I have what he has, with this cough? I don't have a fever..yet..We sound like an infirmary in here!

maybe you can call your pharmacist for suggestions on how to administer the medicine. That really stinks that he fights it so much!

Do you run a humidifier or anything? We have a cool mist one running for Aven at night (since she has chest congestion) and a regular one running for me at night since I have a dry throat-y cough. Blech. They really help though!

Have you tried putting Vicks on his chest and feet? I've heard the feet thing is a myth and that it doesn't really do anything, but anecdotal evidence says otherwise!
