Its literal meaning is "bad canadian weed", kinda like shwag or whatnot...so it is a noun...
However, we then progressed to describing people, (namely women who refuse to sleep with us), as being like kyfe. So it became a noun used in a simile. Then we dropped the "like" and it became a metaphor.
eg) that girl is kyfe
so kyfe is an adjective too
pretty much there is nothing worse than kyfe, cuz how do u feel when you go to roll a blunt and u realize that all u got is some kyfe? calling someone kyfe is one of the worst things u can say about them
