Tbh, where can science take you unless you want to go into research? The most useful subject, really, is being able to understand people, which is culture, which is a lot of humanities (art included). Of course, basic maths=essential. But why do I need to know about differentials, etc? Surely my accountant can do that for me ;)

Now that I've traveled the world (and the seven seas) I have a better idea of what it takes to really become successful and that is communication.

I took all the communication courses I could possibly take including debate; professional research and reporting, oration, etc. and I know that is why I'm head of international marketing for a VoIP company in spite of the fact that I only have an AA in Photography. :)

Communication is paramount and the arts teach communication through expressive means.

When my baby girl gets older I'm going to impress upon her the need to study communication in all its forms.
