I'm glad you went - it sounds like a lot of fun. Did you see Vic and Clare? I hope their performance went well too.

We did see Vic and Clare! Wearing their excellent outfits on, handing out Suffragette City leaflets, and chatting over a beer, it really felt like being at home somehow, to get the chance to catch up with them. Clare gave me some sorely needed recommendations for fiction to read. We didn't see their performance, sadly - late arrival on Saturday and daylight savings on Sunday conspired against us..

Looking forward to your launch, and even better that Vic is coming too!

THat sounds awesome! I want to be in the spelling bee too! This should totally be done as an indie night in a pub somewhere, like pub trivia but cooler, for dorks like us! :)

Freaking awesome idea. Let's get it running. Canberra and Sydney *need* it!

Man, such a great post. I'm glad you were all snuggled in and comfy in your tent city. This pleases me. :)

I also had a sympathetic chuckle at the spelling bee situation. I feel so bad for you that your name wasn't called!!! No fair.

xoxo

I know, it totally wasn't fair - I even tried some nepotistic manoeuvres with Lawrence, but no cigar :)
