oh my fucking GOD. World Series Game 1, top of the first, one out, one man on for Utley's first at bat ever in a World Series -- HOME RUN. the Phillies are up 2-zip before Hamels even takes the mound. it's like they know i'm sick and they're trying to make me feel better!

the Phillies are already up 6-2 in Game 2. i've been following it from work. the pitcher, Bret Myers, is 2 for 2 at the plate with 3 RBI's and a run scored!
