She should've stuck with The Edge of Love. Filming in a remote location in Wales would've been so good for her.
Are you kidding me?! In remote locations like that, there's precious little entertainment -- the social world revolves around pubs. And with as much drinking as Matthew Rhys says they've been doing -- to get in character, of course! I can't imagine a worse environment for her!
I do hope she can clean herself up tho. She seems to have gotten herself to a point where she's about to be written off. If she doesn't wise up, her career's toast.
Shaun of the Dead is one of the best movies ever! *points to icon* And I can't believe you haven't seen Disco Pigs. Great movie!
I was thinking along the lines of Cillian being like, "Straighten the fuck up, would you?" because if he said that to me I'd be like, "I saw Red Eye. I'm listening to you always." I've not had a chance to read any of the interviews from the cast, though, so I had no idea that they're, uhm, method acting.
Everyone says that since I liked Hot Fuzz I'll enjoy Shaun of the Dead. I hope so! AND, I have been waiting on Disco Pigs from Amazon since September of 2006. Not kidding. I finally just ordered it from Netflix and burned a copy until I can get the real one that I have already paid for! Grawr! But I ripped it to my computer tonight as the test run, and I imported a bit of it into Windows Movie Maker and watched about two minutes where Darin was filming the couple on the football field... Haha!
So, I've just finished Disco Pigs. I loved it. I cried and cried in it because a friend of mine told me the ending and I was just watching Runt's face and adkajs;. Gah. It was so beautiful and wonderful and I loved it (and I'm copying/pasting this in the other comment thread, too).
That's so weird that some people seem to have trouble getting that movie from amazon. I got my copy without any kind of problem. Cillian's character kinda scares me in Disco Pigs. And the ending always seems to make me cry. But it's probably one of my favorite movies with him. Most people that have watched it with me have thought it was either very strange or too violent. I seem to be the only person who has no trouble understanding what they are saying with their accents when I watch it with people. My favorite part is in the icon I used
( ... )
For some reason or another it just keeps getting delayed at Amazon. It's making me CRAZY! I've seen probably about 15 minutes of it today, and so far I've not had any trouble following what they're saying. I like what I've seen, though.
AND the Guilt By Association movie IS the same one you mentioned! I put it on my Netflix queue because it had Rachel in it, and I've never seen it and haven't really found it anyplace. I really need to watch it.
Thanks for telling me what you thought of the movies, though! I'll let you know my thoughts, too!

I'm glad you liked it. I knew the ending before hand also and still cried and pretty much do everytime cause it's just so sad.
Well awesome that we were talking about the same movie. I have it on videotape from lifetime somewhere here. Don't be expecting to much though her part's really small. But her acting is still awesome. Which is why she should have gotten a bigger part. I think I waited at least an hour into the movie for her just to appear. And I remember her speaking like twice once she did. The movie totally writes out her near the end too. :( I was like I'd rather find out what happened to her character over the main one. hahaha
