So I have a bit to catch up on... its been well over a month since my last post so I figure its time for a recap mostly to just catch everyone up on what's going on, to save sanity sake I have decided to cut everything down to bite size pieces because of all the stuff I have to talk about, some will probably be shorter than other some longer but ( Read more... )

amazingly enough we hit the two year mark which is already doing better than most of those big name Hollywood families.

You got flooded too? I was trapped on Grand Ave in the middle of it! Scariest drive I've ever made. My lesson? Don't drive through a rain storm and foot of water!

As for RenFaire I do want to go. I'm going to be out of town June 27-July 11 so for the most part, anything after that is free. I need one weekend to pick out bedroom furniture but otherwise I should be free.

so far the out look is still the first weekend in August mostly because friends of ours from college are busy all July and its the first real weekend we are able to plan for after that. the weekend after that we have Megan's birthday.

hey I told Megan via Facebook about throwback Mountain Dew; there's an Ultra Foods in Darien/Downers Grove at 75th and Lemont road that is selling 20oz bottles for $.49...it's not too far from I-355, and might be worth the trip

actually I have found it 2 for a buck at our local Lewis Fresh Market which is about a 5 to 10 minute walk from our apartment.

although its more of an ethnic type food store I have been able to find some real oddities in there that are still good, such as orange flavored Arizona iced tea, and great deals on some fresh fruits and vegetables.

thanks for the info though, it always helps to have another good supply, though I am going to miss it when its gone... although they brought back gamefuel from last year with a new flavor twist which is also hitting a good spot.
