The Only Way is Soho
Too good to be true usually is, so it's my own fault that I didn't see Carla's birthday bill coming. A three course meal and drinks at Maddox private member's club came to £94 each and then my own drink bill added an additional £82 to my personal total.

1. Peter Gordon's new bistro - where The Box used to be - is not the best. I ordered two soft boiled eggs with Vegemite soldiers and a hot chocolate. I got two boiled eggs, one soft and one hard, with soldiers but no Vegemite or hot chocolate. I sent it back and the new dish missed the Vegemite again.

This and last week saw me dine with Shannon, Tania and Taryn. For some reason, the absence of Hugo, Murray and Hamish from these get-togethers means the notion of pushing the boat out further than is sensible doesn't even enter my mind. I don't remember what I thought about Michael Jackson before 2009 because death always colours ones opinion. Whether the "incredible artist" or "weird paedo" bit of his CV had more of an impact, I can't recall, but I always thought a tribute show in his honour would be a lot of fun ( Read more... ) -

1. I have five sleeping positions. I cycle through four of them in the night on high repeat (stomach-right-leg-crook, stomach-left-leg-crook, right-face, and left face) but once I'm ready to wake up I find myself in back-right-leg-crook.
