This is actually just a straight copy paste from my Tumblr.
A story idea...
I wrote half of this while having a Misophonia related insomnia filled night of shittyness. The other half I wrote on the bus on the way home.
The reason most sims don’t have parents and grandparents is that there was a war, between normal sims and the supernatural. It was one of those terrible wars in which neither side would ever be able to relate. Despite there being more normal sims the supernatural were winning. They had the Powerful and savage werewolves, the immortal vampires, the healing powers of the Plant-sims, the magic of witches and warlords and the leadership of the noble elves. They brought back the bodies of dead soldiers from both side as cannon fodder. They saw Sims as lesser beings.
It seemed the Sims would loose and become untouchables in the brutal Elven caste system. Until the aliens arrived. It was obvious why they choose to pick the underdog, they needed pliable subjects for their Pollination mission. So they cut a deal with the SimGov, they would wipe out the Super-naturals in exchange for free Pollination rights.
Several years later…
PT 9 retired from his Pollination role to become a ambassador to the Sims. He lives in Strangetown where the air is hot and dry, like his home planet. Despite what the tabloids claim, his marriage to Jenny was one of love. He had met her father Glarn during the “peace negotiations” and they had become strong friends. Glarn even agreed to pollination as a means to cement the friendship between Sims and aliens.
There are a few Supernaturals around, they were integrated into the Sim society and are often looked upon with a mixture of fear, pity and guilt. SimGov strongly encourages Sims to welcome the Supernaturals into their communities.
Heh its a bit grim I know but this is my brain. I just reread Strange Tomato’s Strangetown, Here We Come so I have been thinking about Alien in Sims anyway. I might actually write a story based on this. I need to figure out a lot of shit tho. I sure there are a lot of angles I have yet to look at.
Any thoughts?
