I noticed earlier this week that my front tire (which was installed while still living in Santa Fe) has worn more heavily on the right side than on the left side. I guess I must sit astride my saddle consistently at an angle.

Or it was installed incorrectly. It's also possible that your tire isn't true. Is Minneapolis built on a slant? I think your conclusion is completely unjustified.
