"defenceless" (Near the beginning) should be "defenseless."

My dear...my very dear Mr Bones! There should be a period after Mr.
"The snail had nothing whatsoever to do with the cigar case. I threw it in to mystify Mr. Rowle, who does not fully appreciate my talents of observation and deduction. He shall remain puzzled until his dying day, whereas if I had explained myself, he would have thought it nothing at all.
Hello, I see that you have said you are not accepting any more friends because you are unable to keep up with them all, and I am in the same situation, so I will not trouble you, m'dear ~ I only wanted to say that I am delighted to make your aquaintance for we not only share the same birthday and similar interests such as Audrey and Sir Percival Blakeny, but I find your Gibson Girls website quite splendid!
That is all, I bid you farewell and a massive applause on your "Friends Only" banner on your userinfo. I shall have to remember to use the parasol from now on when beating people. (*gasp* So un-ladylike, I know...)
I'm delighted to make your acquaintance as well, Lauren. :)
No, not the same exact birthday? June 21st? How neat! I thought Prince William was the only person to share my birthday. :)
Well...*guilty look* It isn't exactly my website. Being an eager and active member of the Gibson Girls, however, I feel it my duty to spread the word...try to recruit new members...etc. You wouldn't be interested in joining, would you? I think you'd fit in quite nicely. If I may say so, you sound like quite the kindred spirit!
Hehe, thanks. My parasol (or shall I say, my skills at wielding one?) is rather famous with the Gibsons, and I liked the idea of bringing the theme to LJ. :)

Thank you, Abigail.:)

Heehee, isn't a grand day? I don't know where you live, but June 21st here is the first day of summer and the longest day of the year (except on leap years...), so I'm very proud of that fact. ^_^

Aw, why thank you, m'dear! And I was considering joining (after this semester ~ right now I haven't time to devote to another community), but I noticed that membership was for only those between the ages of 14 and 19, and I shall be 20 in June...
June 21st is the first day of summer here as well (I live in CT) It's also traditionally Midsummer's Day, which I think is nice. =)
Aw, don't pay any mind to those rules. We do have several members who are over 20. Of course, most of them joined young and just grew up at the "Manor," but we do make exception at times. :) And since you know Lady Heather, we know that you aren't a dastardly hacker or anything horrid like that. =)
