this is ace. it sounds like you had fun writing it which always makes things better..and i love the doctor here, the icey non-human bit...not many people describe well.

ooh it gets better and better! I loved the description of the Doctor's emotion (or seemingly lack thereof) and the contrast to Jack - it brings me back to Bad Wolf and the contrast there when they think Rose is dead... *sniffs*
