OK, so I have been unable to stop being weepy about the Snape and Lily thing. Geez! I made a friggin LJ icon about it. Oh crap, visible spoilage! Hope no one gets it unless they read the book. I wish the epilogue did more than establish happily ever after. I wish JK Rowling was a better writer. Otherwise, I liked it. Although with all those ( Read more... )

See.. for me.. Jason Isaacs has completely spoiled my image of the Malfoy's.. You want hot? Check him out in full Death Eater garb in HP:5... good lord! Point is, I think the movie Lucious has always been stronger and more charismatic than the book version..

I do agree about wishing Rowling was a better writer though... the epilogue just lacked.. finese? subtelty?

Also, JK was very inconsistent with background bits. Like Lily actually never liked Sirius, but wrote him a flowery update letter about Harry? WTF, mate?

No... the letter was to Padfoot... that's why it was in the Black's house to begin with. Snape just took the second page because, apparently, it said "Love Lilly" on it.
