John looked at Sherlock, with his dramatic cheekbones and striking eyes and tumbled hair and bow of a mouth. John couldn't imagine their gay suspect not falling head-over-heels for Sherlock. John had fallen head-over-heels for Sherlock and he wasn't even gay. And John wanted to think he was too generous-minded a person to be experiencing a pang of jealousy at the very idea of Sherlock flirting with someone else, but, well, he wasn't. "Never mind," John said. "I'll give it another go."
