Learned today that, when our per-item pay rates next change, the thing that I do the most will pay less. This is an item that hasn't gone up in years - the last time it changed, the pay for it went down. It's what I spend most of my days working on. And why? Sadly, the plans for a vacation to Seattle with friends fell through. But I'd already reserved this week off work. Now, I could have rescheduled the vacation time, but I chose not to. Why? Simple.
