Someone lend me their sanity... I think I'm running out! I've been looking at postings on CL for dogs... I really want one. I live in a house now... but there's no guarantee that I'll stay here for long though, should I really try and get one

Having a dog is a big expense and responsibility. Don't go for it unless your situation is stable enough, long term, that you're gonna be able to care for it.

If you might not stay where you are, keep in mind that it is difficult to find apartments/rooms that allow pets.

I think I'll wait until I'm in a more permanent situation. :)

That and I decided I want to try and find a Native American Indian Dog, and they're really expensive to adopt, so I'll wait until I can get one.
