There's no romance between the two, so I wouldn't list that they are the main pairing. They're the two people in the fic, for sure.
You provided nice insight as to why Hermione was chosen to interrogate Draco. With the pairing listed as D/Hr, I expected it was due to some past relationship that was still lingering (even if she's engaged to Potter). Hermione was very analytical and she read Draco very well. Nice insight into Draco as Malfoy and his relationship with his father.
One line raises the question though, how would Draco know where his father is when he's dead? Does he really know where Lucius is? (yeah, you always confuse me)
Side note, your endings confuse me, but once I think about it, it's actually quite clear. It takes some skill to pull that off. Kudos to you!
Yeah, you have a point about them being listed as a pairing. I prematurely jumped the gun when labeling since it was my first time attempting anything remotely with them in the same room together...lol
As for Draco saying he'd only tell Hermione where his father was once Lucius was dead, you hit part of it with your afterthought--the idea that Draco didn't tell because if Lucius ever found out, he'd be a dead man (already in Azkaban or not). The other part to it is as Hermione said. it's about his loyalty to his father. There's no way he'd ever give Hermione the information that could lead to his father's capture and be the reason for his father's imprisonment. So saying that was kinda a very vague way of saying he'd never tell.
Sorry my endings keep confusing you...lol I'm big on vagueness at times. But I'm glad you keep coming back for more even with my love of the vague! :)
