I started off my big travel day by waking up at 5 am, east coast time. My friend picked me up with his van and drove us to the airport at 6. We arrived at Phila International at 7. I was so excited to get going on the trip, that I practically jumped out of my friend's moving vehicle, when he was taking too long pulling it up curbside. Check in went

turbulent flights are the worst...your whole life flashes before your eyes and it feels like a near death experience :-(

what was the banana fried in? was it white rice?

I'm not sure about what it was fried in. It had a crispy outer shell- kinda like an eggroll, but sweet. I'm thinking I need a Thai cookbook. I must learn the secrets of making yummy things like fried bananas :-)
