I'm sorry, what just happened?


Random List of Feels (because the positive and negative are just getting jumbled)

1. Look, it would be a sin to not start off my list with a brief mention of how Arya is my favorite ever.
2. Though, as a brief aside, baby girl had herself a mini killing spree at the end of the book, which is a little troubling.
3. I never thought I'd come to care about Jaime Lannister, but I've seriously come to care about Jamie Lannister. Not that I think he's a great human being, but it's nice to see him breaking away from the Lannisters a bit.
4. Also, loving the awkward frenemy status between Jamie and Brienne. Also, maybe this is just me, but I'm sensing some unresolved sexual tension there? Really, it could just be me, but I need Jamie and Brienne to fuck and I'm not even sorry. Surely I'm not alone here?
5. Now that I have some perspective on the whole Jamie/Cersei relationship, I'm horrified by it. Cersei treats him like a dog.
6. I have a lot of complicated feelings about Tyrion, but mostly I like him as a character and don't want him to die.
7. However, my feelings about Jon are not at all complicated and I love him to bits.
8. So Sansa had a few ballsy moments in this book that I really appreciated, but now she's stuck at the Eyrie and I'm so not okay with Petyr being a little creeper.
9. Did anyone make a good decision in this book? Because seriously...that was a hot political mess.
10. I'm really sad that Robb's dead, but mostly because the guy who plays him in the series is a total babe.
11. I want to say I'm really sad that Catelyn's dead too, but I'm not entirely sure that she is after the epilogue.
12. Joff's dead. And Tywin. Finally.


13. I want to say I'm sad that Lysa is dead because she was a clearly a troubled woman and was used by a lot of people, but it's never okay to almost push someone out of a hole in a sky castle.
14. Samwell is a doll, and he's really coming into himself.

On-going Wishlist

1. I need to know what Hodor means and why Hodor keeps saying it.
2. A reunion between Nymeria and Arya.
3. Zombie Lady rising from the dead to eat off Cersei and Joffrey's faces. (Still not even sorry.)
4. The Lannisters spiraling into ruin to unseat them from their fucking high horses.
5. Sansa to channel her inner Stark/Tully to gain some ground in King's Landing. I guess so?
6. Or even Sansa just out of King's Landing would be good. Out of the frying pan and into the fire?
7. Maybe Robb can get a girl? Or someone else? I might need a spot of romance that isn't Joff/Sansa. If this book was any indication of how relationships end in ASOIAF, I'm down with no one having a relationship ever.
8. I would really appreciate a gay character. I guess this counts?
9. Jaqen being Arya's legit kinda friend rather than someone who will fuck her over.
10. Arya can never, ever die. EVER.
11. Find out what A Song of Ice and Fire really is.
12. A (happy) reunion between the Stark children. LOL.
13. Brienne and Jamie should fuck.
