This was really stunning. I know that a lot of fandom has Lily and James shagging before they're married and I've never quite seen this take on things before, but it's such a lovely take on this sort of situation. James definitely seems like the type to wait for Lily forever, especially in this sense. Definitely a gentleman. :)

Thank you! :) I've read a few that involve them saving it, but it's only really mentioned in passing. So this is filling in a missing moment, in a way. But, mm, the Philippines, where I'm from, is predominantly Catholic (to the point that even politics is severely influenced by the Church). So a lot of the sentiments in some J/L fic are a bit foreign, even if I'm the farthest thing from a devout. (like Lily bemoaning being a virgin at 17. For me, this is whaaat?)

Oh, I liked this a lot! I really liked the way you brought us into Lily's thoughts and feeligns without hitting us over the head with it. As museme87 said, this is a very lovely take on the situation.

I just love this, and especially the whole sentiment behind it. I don't think I've read a fic around this premise, and your take on it is beautiful. Lily's fear and James' reaction both seem so real, which is the best bit, considering James' 'I'd wait forever'. *melt*
