Canon: As Rowena!mun said, we've been hopping around the timeline, but it's all in Founder-era. Salazar married her not out of love but for necessity (it's explained briefly in this timeline), but they do get along. Early on in their marriage, she probably doesn't know that her husband is in love with another woman, but I imagine that later on he would tell her as he grew closer to her. By the time Helena, Salazar and Rowena's daughter, is born, Lady Slytherin knows about the affair, because Salazar tried to convince his wife to adopt the girl and raise it as their own.
