Ghost Ship - Sin

Who: Jack Ferriman - "Ghost Ship"
What: Jack reflects on his current occupation and the joy it has brought him.

Stopping alongside the rail of the Antonia Graza's deck, Jack Ferriman shifts his body and leans against it, gazing his eyes out and the black sea. It was his first night back home from a long search party of finding a crew capable to fix his death ship. Though not physically viewable, hundreds of souls were onboard with the living he picked up, waiting and watching for their queue to kill and claim more sinners.

How naive and corrupt humans were. Not a single adult he'd come across was as pure as that Katie child, they were all sinners according to the commandments given and no one could avoid doing such things forbidden. Even the religious of the bunch was as guilty as the next. Years of dealing with the corruption in the world and you'd become just like the next human.

How things came into place with the world amused Jack. Having loved to mutilate and watch the blood spill on his wood decks from those he killed, knowing that millions of humans were capable of such acts had Jack in ecstasy to kill. But he was a civil man and kept his sanity until the show was nearly over. Working with a higher up also came into play and he wouldn't do anything to abuse the power given.

As grateful as he was about being able to get away with murder, along with the supernatural powers, there were drawbacks. He was stuck on a ship some hundreds of miles away from any living soul and forced to stay onboard with a land of the dead in which he controlled. How Jack hated to think of such things to come, but he couldn't allow himself to endure that fate, his chance to kill was here and he better prove to his management he was still worth being here.
