Who: Henry Townshend - "Silent Hill"
What: Henry begins to crack from being locked inside his apartment for three days only to find that his means of escape is a dream.
Whispers swarmed in the translucent air of a building as a young man lie silently on his bed staring at the ceiling above. Sorrowful, wicked voices of the hush filled every crevice and inch of his small apartment, and if it weren't for the tormented voices of those poor souls, the room would've been a deadly silent. Last time Henry had even bothered to count how long he'd been trapped in his apartment, the cycle had now run on its third day. And to make matters worse, nothing worked either. No clear TV broadcasts, only static on the radio, no open windows to breathe the fresh air and escape, and to top it all off, there was barely anything left to eat. Henry was going to either die of starvation or boredom before anyone ever found him. Or maybe the voice luring above would do it quicker.
But he had dreams. Dreams of approaching his bathroom to find a dark hole that led into a nightmare spawned from inside. Bravely stepping inside, he found himself in various locations of the small town of Silent Hill, but warped in such a way that this place could no longer be considered normal and more like someone's demented and twisted playground. Every day, Henry felt his sanity begin to slip and waking up dream after dream, his mind went from striving determination to antagonizing insanity.
